A Fine pair of European ormolu or gilt bronze mounted jasper tazza. French or Russian, circa: 1860-1880. Measuring: 8" high. Weight: 10 pounds.
Each tazza is carved from the hardstone Jasper. The Jasper bowls are mounted on each side with neoclassical twin handles. Raised upon an ormolu fluted socle the tazza is mounted on an ormolu square plinth. The front side exhibits a specimen of jasper framed within the center. The square plinths are further supported by highly detailed square bases rasied on four bun feet.
