A fine early European carved marble panel in relief. European, Most Probably German. Circa: 1690-1720. Measuring: 8.5" high by 6.75" wide. Panel only: 6.25" by 6". Weight: 10 pounds.
The marble panel is carved in high relief and depicts a battle with numerous soldiers with hand weapons in full combat. The white-Cream marble plaque is raised upon a Black granite and marble rectangular stepped plinth.
