A large pair of Palatial tapestries. European , circa: 1800's. . Measuring: Each: 132" High by 54" wide ( 11 Feet high by 4.5
Feet wide ) Covering a total area displayed together as a pair : 132" X 120" (11 Feet high by 10 Feet wide).
This exceptionally large pair of tapestries each display different scenes which compliment each other. The pair exhibit
numerous figures of nobles and warriors as well as horses. Set among a landscape of floral and fauna with Castles and flags
upon upward poles the scenes are dramatic and rich with fine detail and rich color.
The pair of tapestries were acquired by Sonny Bono and Cher in the 1960's. Cher's love of collecting Antiques has been
shown in her interiors of homes many times.
A signed C.O.A issued by Sotheby's and signed by Cher accompanies the sale of the tapestries.
