Exceptional gilded bronze mounted malachite box. Superb casting and sharp crisp details. Neoclassical design work through out the side circular sides. The top cover bearing the superior panel of Malachite specimen is surounded by an ormolu border of acanthus leaf design.
Superb original condition with original brilliant gilding still in tact. Inside reveals original Royal cobalt blue silk velvet. Museum quality. |
