urn. French, circa: 1870-1880. Measuring: 14" high. 10 pounds.
Exceptional ormolu mounted Sevres cobalt blue porcelain
vase of highest quality. The neoclassical form vase depicts
swan handles with swags of garlands of flowers cascading on each side. The base is most
notable with four separately made Sevres porcelain panel inserts.
High quality casting with very sharp crisp details through out the entire work of art. Matt gilding accented by brilliant burnished areas of gilding.
Excellent condition. Original gilding still in tact. |
