French Charles X Bronze & Ormolu Urns Vases
A Fine pair Of Charles X period Ormolu and patinated bronze two handled urns. This pair although very Empire and Neoclassical fall under the reign of the Charles the X period which followed directly after the Empire period. Paris, circa: 1815-1825. This pair date about 1820. Measuring: 11" high.

The Two handled urns are of the finest bronze casting from the lost wax method. Hand chased and then mercury gilded with Imperial amounts of gold. This pair is in original superb Museum quality condition. Each have a previous piercing for electricity bottom base reverse, but is now filled in and is no longer visible.

These are on par with any example found in any Museum or Important Institution housing French Empire decorative arts.
